No it doesn’t.
To the best of my knowledge and I’m not a gearbox expert in any way, what Eco mode on auto transmission does is change up at lower rpms.
Sport mode logically should shorten gearbox life as it involves high power levels and higher rpms which will shorten engine, gearbox and drive train lifespan..
